Organic Red Raspberry Leaf: It is a nutritional powerhouse; it contains significant values of B2, B3 and C vitamins as well as calcium, magnesium, zinc and potassium. It plays a role in regulating hormones and helping with "baby blues". Tones uterus and pelvic muscles as well as aids in wound healing.
Organic Nettle Leaf: Aids in breast milk production. It is a great source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin K; plus contains nutrients magnesium, potassium, iron, iodine, copper, chlorophyll, linoleic acid, and quercetin. The Vitamin C in Nettle is essential to adrenal health and support as the adrenal glands are the largest user of Vitamin C in the body. Nettle helps make Vitamin D from the sun bio-available as well as assisting in iron absorption. It also aids in reducing postpartum pain. Nettle has been traditionally used to support healthy urinary tract health.

Organic Oat Straw: High in Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, C, E and K; plus nutrients; iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus. It helps support the endocrine system which responsible for metabolic functions and reproductive health. Also supports healthy bones and teeth as well as eases muscle spasms. Oat straw helps calm anxiety and the nervous system, additionally studies show its nutrients support cognitive function. Its antioxidants (including avenanthramides) are supportive of heart health and are anti-inflammatory.
Organic Fennel: Helps support and maintain breastmilk supply by supporting healthy prolactin levels. Some studies have shown fennel can also help increase the fat content of breastmilk. Because it is high in calcium, magnesium and manganese it supports healthy bone development and repair. Sooths the GI tract and can aid in eliminating gas and bloating.
Organic Fenugreek: Known for increasing breastmilk production and helping it to flow. It also has some hormone balancing effects.
Organic Chamomile: Aids in milk supply; helps mother and baby with gastrointestinal stress, gas and bloat.
To prepare infusion:
- Warm a quart glass jar under hot tap water.
- Put one large handful (1/4 cup plus 1 rounded tablespoon) of herbal mixture in empty, warm jar.
- Pour boiling water into jar, making sure to stir down herbs.
- Cover jar and leave overnight to extract nutrients. This is known as an infusion, rather than making tea.
- In the morning, pour contents through a fine mess strainer (the metal screened type with a handle works best.) Rinse jar out and pour your infusion back into the jar. Discard or compost herbal material.
- Drink entire quart over the day. You may dilute the infusion with water or herbal tea if you wish, be sure to work at drinking the entire quart. Refrigerate the unused portion until ready to drink
